Patrizia Schiavelli experienced the years of Genazzano Project as an adolescent, witnessing the transformations that the artistic activities of Carlo Quartucci, Carla Tatò, and the invited artists brought to the everyday life of the town. The daughter of an employee of the Genazzano Municipal Registry Office, she came into indirect contact with some of the project’s most significant actions, including Luciano Fabro’s Genealogia. Her testimony offers the perspective of a younger generation that participated in the events without necessarily possessing the cultural tools to fully interpret them, yet clearly perceived their extraordinary, playful, and socially engaging character.
