Brief biography
Appio Marsella moved to Genazzano during the 1950s. A passionate photographer, he has documented the town’s everyday life and many of the events that have shaped its social and cultural history. Through his photographic archive and personal recollections, it is possible to reconstruct significant aspects of Carlo Quartucci and Carla Tatò’s presence in Genazzano, as well as the relationships they established with the local community. His testimony provides an important visual and documentary perspective on the project and its social context.
